About the Show

Simply staged, this tour is an imaginative production that offers maximum flexibility for a group of almost any size and age!

From an assortment of surprise packages comes four very special gifts, each a gift of storyteller Hans Christian Andersen to the children of the world.

Out of a bright birthday box steps "The Puppet Show Man" to tell his magical story. From a basket of eggs comes the well-loved story of "The Ugly Duckling," a tale of self-worth for children uncomfortable with their differences.

Then follows with the touching story of “Thumbelina,” a story about how appearances can be deceptive. A little girl the size of a thum achieves a great deal. The quartet of tales concludes with the classic “The Emperor's New Clothes.” Just because everyone else believes something is true, doesn't mean it is. There's no such thing as a stupid question!
