PRESS RELEASE:
(February, 2010) SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Company Theatre,  San Antonio-based touring company, continues the 2009-2010 Dinnerbox Season with the world premiere of their newest play.  The History of Texas…in one darn easy lesson! will be performed for two weekends only, as part of the Dinnerbox Series (presenting live comedy in local restaurants).  The History of Texas is an hysterical, historical hayride through 500 years of Texas history in 5000 seconds by only three actors. 

The Company has been praised by the San Antonio Express News: “Their performances are laugh-out-loud funny all the way through.”  

This production runs for one additional weekend in the Big Apple Room at the Little Italy Restaurant (824 Afterglow San Antonio, TX 78216.)  Discount Night is Thursday March 11th (Only $20 for dinner & show!)  The show will run on March 11th-13th.  Doors open at 6:30PM.  Show time at 7:30PM.  Tickets are only $30 for dinner & show combo when purchased in advance ($40 at the door.)  Dinner includes pizza snacks, salad, bread and one of the following meal selections: Meat Lasagna, Spinach Lasagna, Chicken Parmigiana or Spaghetti & Meatballs.  Beer and wine are also available for purchase.  Seating is limited and shows sell out quickly so reservations are strongly suggested.
